Spanish IV

2007/2008

Course Description:  This course provides the student with the opportunity to improve oral proficiency and listening comprehension skills, to increase vocabulary and to gain an enhanced knowledge of Hispanic cultures.

Textbook: En Espanol Tres.

Expectations:  In order for this to be an interesting and rewarding experience, it is important that everyone contributes to the class in a positive manner. Everything you do affects the atmosphere in this classroom. If you have a question please ask it. If you do not understand something  let me know. If you require extra help ask for it. Students must come to class ready to learn and participate. Quizzes and Tests are always announced ahead of time. Projects will be assigned during the course of the school year. They may be group or individual projects, always announced ahead of time. Homework is assigned almost every night and always checked.  It may be collected and graded at any time. Marking Period  grade at the end of the marking period represents the accumulation of the actual number of points earned by the during the marking period divided by the number of possible points available.   Midterm 50% + Final 50% = Fifth Marking Period Grade.
