Note to Parents: Dear Parents
Monday: Objective: To work with new vocabulary, reading and translating. We will begin working with the new vocabulary in Unit 2 Lesson 2 on pages 120-121 and read A-E. Questions 1-5 on page 121 will be answered in Spanish. IR + a will be introduced. on page 126.
Homework: Activity on page 126 and all vocabulary from pages 120-121 is to be written in Spanish with English translations in notebooks. We will have a quiz on these words on Friday.
Tuesday: Objective: To work with the new vocabulary, Ir + a, and time. We will work with and review the new vocabulary on pages 120-121. Activity 6 on page 126 will be reviewed. We will be introduced to Quieres comer? on page 125, review ir+a, and begin working with telling time on page 128.
Homework: Activity 9 on page 128 and study for the vocabulary quiz that will be given on Friday.
Wednesday: Objective: To work with new vocabulary, ir+a, and time. We will continue to work with the new vocabulary words, ir+a, and time. We will do Activities 10 and 11 on page 129 and begin a worksheet on time in class.
Homework: Complete the time worksheet and study for the vocabulary quiz.
Thursday: Objective: To work with the new vocabulary, ir+a, time, and estar. We will continue to work with and review the new vocabulary words for the quiz that will be given on Friday. We will review the worksheet on time that was completed for homework. Ir + a will be reviewed. Estar = to be, will be introduced and we will complete Activity 12 on page 130.
Homework: Study pages 120-121 vocabulary for the quiz on Friday.
Friday: Objective: To work with new vocabulary, time, and interrogatives. We will review the vocabulary and then the quiz will be given. We will review time. Interrogatives on page 131 will be introduced. We will make flash cards with the interrogatives and practice them with partners.
Homework: Study the interrogatives.
